Wizz Air to resume flights to Tel Aviv on May 28 after repeated delays

Tel Aviv/Budapest - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that it will resume flights to and from Tel Aviv from May 28 after repeated delays. It referred to a recent update from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, which issued a warning urging European carriers to exercise “increased caution” until May 27. The airline said the decision reflects ongoing coordination with international and local authorities and its commitment to safe operations.

The ceasefire with Iran came into effect on April 8, and Israeli airspace reopened the following day. Wizz Air initially said it would resume flights on April 28, but has since postponed its return four times. The company said it now has hundreds of thousands of tickets available on its website and will operate routes to major European cities including London, Rome, Budapest, Larnaca, Warsaw and Milan.
