This is the question that each of us who is actively thinking about and trying to plan a summer vacation asks ourselves. In light of and in the context of the current international situation in the Middle East and other regions of the world, the question naturally arises - where is it safe? Many tourists have the habit of regularly visiting Egypt, Turkey, the southern Greek islands, Israel and, of course, Dubai.
However, the situation changed radically at the end of last month, when open war broke out in the Middle East. Its end is still in sight and several international relations analysts are cautiously stating that this war conflict will not end soon.
Even three weeks after the attack on Iran, agency reports appear daily, according to which all radical changes primarily affect European and world airlines. Today (note 18.3.), for example, Scandinavian Airlines announced that it is canceling a number of flights due to a sharp increase in fuel prices.
So what can we expect in the coming weeks and months? How will this security situation develop and what kind of vacation awaits us? Which places and regions can be considered safe?
Generally speaking, "everywhere is good, home is best". And let's face it, every country we live in has its own beauty.
If you firmly decide to go to the sea, we have selected three tips for destinations where you will not be in danger. We will bring you more details about these locations and specific places regularly in the coming weeks, but we will basically list them right in the introduction.
French Riviera (Cote d'Azur)

Yes, it is not a leap from us, but it represents a place where most of us have not been yet. The entire southern French coast from Saint Tropez, through Frejus, Cannes and Nice offers an unforgettable atmosphere and wide possibilities for a safe and comfortable holiday. You can get to Nice by plane directly from any European capital, the flight will take you from 2 to 4 hours depending on your home. If you buy your tickets in advance, they will cost you a little cheaper than a possible "last minute".
The entire southern coast of France offers you beautiful sandy beaches, warm sea, and pleasant weather from approximately May to the end of September.
Poland and the Baltic Sea

It is a discovered destination for most of us, which we are slowly starting to get used to. We have visited 1 interesting place for you and even 2 times to convince ourselves that a holiday in the coastal part of Poland is definitely worth it. The journey by car does not take long, with a leisurely drive you are there in about 7 - 9 hours, depending on the starting destination. In addition to other advantages, Poland also offers prices that we can consider more than "home" and acceptable.
Montenegro

A beautiful, undiscovered destination that is slowly coming to the fore. Not only for its location, locality and country, but mainly thanks to the air connections that opened in 2025 and have grown even from lesser-known airports. Definitely worth a taste.
