The famously private Athina Onassis stepped back into the spotlight in Barcelona, making a rare and elegant appearance at the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.
Attending the highly anticipated show by French designer Stéphane Rolland, Onassis quickly became one of the standout figures of the evening—despite remaining, as always, understated and composed.
A rare public reappearance
The appearance marks one of the few times Athina has been seen at a public event in recent years. Interestingly, her last known outing was also linked to Rolland, at his haute couture show in Paris earlier in 2026.
Known for her discretion and preference for a life away from the spotlight, the Greek heiress only attends select events—making each appearance a moment of intrigue.

Held as part of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Rolland’s showcase—“Barcelona Bridal Night”—was among the most anticipated events of the opening day.
While Spanish model Nieves Álvarez captivated audiences on the runway as the designer’s muse, it was Onassis who drew attention from the front row, with photographers and guests turning their focus toward her arrival.
She attended alongside Pierre Martinez, vice president of the fashion house.

For the occasion, Onassis chose a minimalist monochrome look in a striking cherry-red tone. The outfit featured an asymmetrical, draped top paired with relaxed, tailored trousers, both accented with subtle satin detailing.
